Skill development, international friendships and unforgettable memories. We ask all applicants why they want to join APHC Camp 2027, and their answers up until now have already revealed what makes this experience so special.
Since opening registrations on the 16th of October 2026 at 6 o’clock in the evening, 27 players have already filled in our form. We asked them what motivates them to participate. Players could select multiple reasons, so the numbers below represent how many respondents selected each motivation. In about 24 hours time, we got to the 25th submissions! An impressive development, if we look at the registrations two years ago. In a month time we didn’t even have 15 players to register for the first edition of our camp. How time changes for the better, indeed!
Here’s what the players that already have submitted their applications, told us so far:
These results show that players are looking for more than just hockey. They want to develop their game, connect with people from different countries and become part of an international community that challenges, inspires and learns from one another.
For most applicants, personal development is the biggest motivation to join APHC Camp 2027. They want to improve their skills, learn new techniques and tactics, receive feedback from experienced coaches and challenge themselves to become better players.
A week of focused training offers the opportunity to explore new approaches, discover strengths and identify areas for improvement. It’s a chance to step outside familiar routines and bring new ideas back to their clubs and national teams.
Powerchair hockey brings people together through a shared passion, regardless of where they come from. APHC Camp creates an environment where players can meet others who understand their experiences, exchange ideas and build friendships across borders.
These connections often extend beyond the hockey court. By spending an entire week together, players have the opportunity to learn from different perspectives, support one another and become part of a wider international community.
Of course, development and competition aren’t everything. Players also want to have fun, spend time with friends and enjoy a week filled with shared experiences.
From training sessions and matches to conversations off the court, the camp creates opportunities for memories that last long after the final whistle. It’s about enjoying the sport together and making the most of a unique international experience.
Playing against familiar opponents can only take you so far. Facing different teammates, adapting to new playing styles and working with players from other countries can open up new perspectives on the game.
APHC Camp gives participants the opportunity to challenge themselves in an international environment, test their abilities and discover approaches they might not encounter in their regular clubs or national leagues.
It’s not just about showing what you can do. It’s also about discovering what else is possible.
For some applicants, the motivation comes from experience. They’ve already attended a previous edition and know what makes the camp special. Others have heard inspiring stories from participants and want to discover it for themselves.
Their interest highlights the lasting impression the camp can leave and the excitement surrounding another week of international powerchair hockey.
Not everyone joins solely to improve their own game. Some players also want to share their knowledge, support fellow athletes and contribute to the development of powerchair hockey in their home countries.
This spirit of collaboration is an important part of APHC Camp. When players exchange experiences and help one another grow, the benefits can reach far beyond the participants themselves.
The responses reveal a common thread: players want to develop, connect and experience something meaningful together.
APHC Camp brings these motivations together in one international environment. It’s a place where experienced players can challenge themselves, developing athletes can discover new opportunities and everyone can learn from people who share their passion for powerchair hockey.
It’s not just about becoming a better player. It’s about being part of a community that challenges, inspires and learns from one another.
Don’t just hear about the experience afterwards. Take the first step towards joining us! Whether your goal is to improve your skills, meet international players, experience high-level hockey or simply make unforgettable memories, APHC Camp 2027 could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
