Rosé wine – “GANZO” – Podere Montale


Experience the refined splendor of “Ganzo“, an enchanting rosé from Podere Montale. This 2022 Toscano Rosato IGT is an outstanding expression of 100% Sangiovese grapes, harvested from the fertile soils of Seggiano, Grosseto, Maremma Tuscany.

With a bright, brilliant color and a subtle onion-like hue, Ganzo captivates with its intense aromas of flowers, citrus, and fresh fruit. In the mouth, this rosé offers a full, enveloping experience, perfectly balanced with a lingering finish.


Ganzo is not only a refreshing aperitif but also pairs beautifully with light fish dishes, shellfish, cold cuts, salads, and vegetarian dishes.

Originating from Italy, the Sangiovese rosé of 2022 vintage stands as a testament to Italian winemaking excellence. Bearing the esteemed appellation of Toscano Rosato IGT, this wine boasts an alcohol content of 13%vol.

Best served chilled at 8-10°C, it offers a delightful drinking experience. With a recommended consumption window extending from now until 2025, this rosé embodies the essence of Italian terroir and craftsmanship.

Vinification and aging:
Ganzo is obtained from an early harvest of Sangiovese grapes, where they are macerated on the skins for 18 to 24 hours. After initial sedimentation, fermentation begins in white, for about 15 days in stainless steel tanks at 16 to 18°C. After a brief period in stainless steel tanks, Ganzo rosato is bottled and stored at a controlled temperature at Podere Montale.
