16.75

Experience the rich flavors of “Impostino“, a high-quality red wine from 2017 made by Tenuta l’Impostino. It’s a blend of Sangiovese (80%) and a mix of Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot (20%) from the Querciola vineyard.

This wine has a deep red color and smells like red fruits, with hints of hay, herbs, and tobacco. It feels warm and full-bodied in your mouth, with a nice balance of freshness and tannins, and it finishes with a satisfying taste that lasts.

Description

Impostino, both versatile and elegant, harmonizes flawlessly with cold cuts, spicy cheeses, and hearty meat dishes like roasted meats, rabbit “cacciatora”, chicken “in scottiglia” and lamb chops.

Crafted from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot grapes, the 2017 Montecucco Rosso Riserva DOC by Tenuta l’Impostino embodies the essence of Italian winemaking.

Hailing from Civitella Paganico, Grosseto, in Maremma Tuscany, this wine boasts a rich aroma and flavor profile. With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol., it’s best served between 16-18°C, offering a delightful experience from the moment it’s uncorked until 2027.

Garnering accolades from Gambero Rosso, Veronelli, Bibenda, AIS Vitae, Vinum, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator, it’s a testament to its exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
