Podere Montale‘s “Peposo” is a beautiful Tuscan red wine that captures the essence of the region. This Toscano Rosso IGT from the year 2019 is a harmonious blend of Sangiovese (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), and Merlot (10%).

With a deep cherry red color and a cheerful bouquet with floral notes and hints of violet, Peposo reveals a palate of red and black fruits, enriched with a subtle minerality. Accessible and juicy, with a light spiciness and an elegant, long-lasting finish.

This exceptional vintage from 2019, bearing the Toscano Rosso IGT appellation, harmoniously blends Sangiovese (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), and Merlot (10%). Encased in 75cl bottles with an alcohol content of 13.5% vol.

Vinification and aging:
The fermentation of Podere Montale’s Peposo takes place on the skins for 10-15 days at a controlled temperature (27-28°C), followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for delicate extraction of tannins and color. The wine is bottled and stored to further mature.
